Hi! We're Jared and Sonja Cook, creators of Cook Candle Company. We're native Texans that love adventuring and creating together. We also love to slow down to connect with loved ones and the world around us. Cook Candle Company is a labor of love started to capture memories and create cozy moments of connection with family and friends. Drawing from our heritage and shared experiences in Scandinavian culture, we strive to provide our customers the ability to create and experience "Hygge" (Danish concept of coziness) and "Lagom" (Swedish concept of balance) in their every days lives. Also drawing from our shared Christian faith, we hope our candles can in some way bring more "Shalom" to your life, meaning more peace, healing, and coming together of things were once separate. All that said, we really hope our candles can make your life just a little bit brighter in some way (literally and figuratively).
